Big changeover to the Disneyland Paris Holidays starting today

Guests at DISNEYLAND Paris can get up close and personal with their favorite Disney characters again.

As of this morning, the theme park has eliminated socially distanced meet and greets, giving a huge boost to families heading to the happiest place on earth.

Earlier this month, Disneyland Paris relaxed Covid rules and brought back hugs to the amusement park – however, this rule only applied to some fur figures in the outdoor area.

But as of today, the rule has been completely lifted to include faces and interiors.

Accordingly mouse stepsA spokesman for the theme park said: “We are pleased to announce that from 01.01.

“Specifically, guests can once again share a special moment with Mickey at ‘Meet Mickey Mouse,’ or enjoy a royal meet and greet with a Disney princess at the Princess Pavilion.”

Yesterday the park saw the Return of the characteristic foodwhere guests could meet Mickey and Minnie.

The changes come just in time for that park to turn 30 years old on 04/12

Although the actual anniversary is only two weeks away, the theme park started its birthday celebrations last month and installed a variety of new attractions to mark the occasion.

Before that, a new daytime show takes place every day newly renovated Sleeping Beauty Castle with more than 30 Disney characters and dancers on colorful floats.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald and all their friends show off new shiny costumes created especially for the milestone.

And Minnie has a brand new outfit designed by Stella McCartney to celebrate the park’s birthday – her first-ever tuxedo to be worn in honor Women’s History Month.
