EX TOWIE star Billie Faiers has hit back at reports she is locked in a dispute with her neighbors as she continues with the latest renovations to her Essex mansion.

Earlier last month it was reported that the 32-year-old and her husband Greg Shepherd, 35, are no longer on speaking terms with their neighbors at their four-bedroom Brentwood property, which they have been renovating since January 2020 amid loud construction work.

It came after local residents tried to block planning permission applications from the celebrity couple, who have two children together.

Then, during a chat on Vicky Pattinson’s podcast last week, Billie joked that her husband Greg might ruffle a few feathers when they finally settle into their new home, and Greg said he’d take a skinny dip in their pool.

Now, on the podcast, which she shares with her sister and reality star Sam, Billie has firmly denied any feud with her neighbors and said Greg joked about skinny dipping.

On this week’s episode of The Sam & Billie Show, the mother said stories had been published saying, “Billie and Greg have problems with their neighbors.”

“Remember our neighbors have been great since we moved there. We had no complaints, as we all know, work has been going on in this house for the last few years,” she said.

“They were really cool, laid back, we met a few of them and they were lovely. So I was really upset with this story because I was like, where is this coming from? I got it when we had the scheduling approval issues and we talked about it on the show.”

Billie then spoke about the reaction to her and Greg’s chat on Vicky Pattinson’s podcast.

“We’re going to move in there and none of the neighbors are going to like us,” she told the Geordie Shore star.

Greg then teased, “You won’t like us after the first pool party!”

The dad said he and Billie splashed onto trees to protect their privacy while enjoying their sprawling garden – which they have some very cheeky plans for.

“It’s just for privacy … if we bathe naked, you know what it’s like,” he explained.

Billie said Greg joked about skinny dipping, but when she woke up the next morning “she must have had 20 Google alerts on my phone… ‘Neighbors fear when Greg threatens to go nude in his pool.’

Turning to the house’s progress, Billie said it’s going “really well.”

“Everything is plastered, everything is painted white. The garden is coming along, all the grass has gone in now, it’s really getting there,” she said.

She added that she is now “at the point of all the finishing work” and is working on the interiors.

Billie performed with The Only is Essex between 2010 and 2016 and was forced to withdraw from Dancing on Ice last year after suffering an injury.
