Billionaire Rupert Murdoch and supermodel Jerry Hall ‘divorced after 6 years’

Murdoch, 91, and Hall, 65, married in March 2016 in central London in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and former supermodel Jerry Hall will be divorcing, it was reported this evening.

The end of the couple’s six-year marriage will be the 91-year-old’s fourth divorce.

This was Hall’s first marriage after being previously in a long-term relationship with Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger.

She and the male singer share 4 children, however, the two have never been married during their 22 years of love.

Bryce Tom, a spokesman for Murdoch, declined to comment on the reports, while a representative for Ms. Hall did not respond to questions.

Murdoch, who is worth £14.5 billion, has six children.

They include daughter Prudence MacLeod with first wife Patricia Booker, daughter Elisabeth and sons Lachlan and James with second wife Anna Mann, and daughters Chloe and Grace, whom he shares with third wife. Wendi Deng.

Details of Murdoch and Hall’s divorce are still unknown, however, the couple has no children together.

It is unclear, if any, how the prenuptial agreement was signed before they tied the knot.

Murdoch and Hall, 65, were married in March 2016 in central London.

The billionaire marked the opportunity by announcing on Twitter that he would stop posting on the platform, calling himself “the luckiest and happiest man in the world.”

Murdoch owns The Sun and The Times in the UK, Fox News and The Wall Street Journal in the US, and newspapers in his native Australia.

The Murdoch family’s shares in the companies he founded are in a managed trust.

Murdoch divided voting on that trust among his four oldest children – Lachlan, Elisabeth, James and Prudence – and arranged them so that he was never voted out.
