A TECH expert has shared a genius trick to make texting on your Android phone a little faster.

In a recent video, TikTok user @kadama showed fans how to create shortcuts for certain words or phrases – allowing you to type them in at lightning speed.

It can help you enter longer bits of information, such as your email address or phone number, into text boxes without having to type them out hard.

To set custom keyboard shortcuts on Android, open the Settings app and search for “personal dictionary”. Click it.

Click it to paste your entry into the text box.

You can also add custom keyboard shortcuts on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Keyboard > Replace Text.
