Black Desert Online begins improving the new adventurer experience, tweaking items and launching events

The latest update for Black desert online includes class balance changes, fixes, and a number of adjustments to abilities and other systems. Additionally, Pearl Abyss is reworking the game’s new adventuring experience in several ways, and this update updates over 300 item descriptions for greater clarity.

There are several games that have updated or are in the process of updating their experiences and tutorials for new players. For Black Desert Online, This update changes 316 item descriptions to make it clear how you get them and what you do with them. This is the start as they have promised that there will be more updates to item descriptions in the future. Providing a welcoming experience for newcomers is important not only to attract and retain new players, but also for a healthier overall community. Learning through feedback that some items might be harder to get is helpful so you can flip and refresh sooner.

The weight of over 300 items has also been reduced, allowing players to pack more into their inventory. Other changes in the update include adjustments to upgrade materials so that the Family Inventory tab appears when a player reaches level 60.

The recently added main quest line “Mountain of Eternal Winter” has been adjusted, mainly to fix bugs with accepting quests, getting stuck, audio and animation syncing and other bugs.

One of the promised changes during the last CalpheON Episode 2 was an ability to combine processing stones. Consolidate the stones and if you had existing stones you can sell them to end PC traders for silver or use them as an item. If you check your inventory, all of the Processing Stones have been replaced with something called Sealed Processing Stones. Selling them to NPC traders will give you the highest price they have been sold for on the market worldwide.
