Black Desert Online’s Eternal Winter expansion goes live with a new region and a new Drakania class


The eternal winter is here Black desert onlineThe new expansion of goes live today. The expansion brings the new region Mountain of Eternal Winter as well as tons of new quests, new content, new monsters and bosses and of course new rewards. There are new mechanics including the new Frostbite debuff, ways to safely explore, crafting and more.

It’s hard to name everything that’s included in this new update. There are several new monster zones, each with different strategies to challenge you, the brand new class, Drakania, the Destroyer of the Ynix, which also comes with new season servers for a fresh, fast-paced start. Pearl Abyss also offers a free Traveler Edition of the game that allows you to join the game and play through the new expansion content. This is available until April 13th.

So if you’ve decided to go adventuring in the snowy mountains, you need to watch out for the new Frostbite debuff. As long as you explore the region you will be susceptible to this, but the region specializes in teas that can instantly cure frostbite. These are craftable items that you’ll probably want to have on hand at all times. There are new crafting materials to discover in the mountainous region, along with dwellers living in small areas along the Treacherous Lands. There are also crafting recipes for items like food, perfumes, elixirs, and more.
