Bob Dylan announces Dublin performance as part of Rough and Rowdy world tour in November

Bob Dylan will be bringing his Rough and Rowdy Ways world tour to Dublin later this year.

he concert will take place on November 7th in the 3Arena, advance ticket sales begin on Thursday, September 1st at 9 am.

Often regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Dylan (81) has been an important figure in popular culture over a career spanning more than 60 years

Many of his most famous works date from the 1960s, when songs like Mr Tambourine Man, Blowin’ in the Wind and The Times They Are a-Changin’ emerged.

He has sold more than 125 million records and received numerous awards including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, ten Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award.

In 2016, Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature “for creating new forms of poetic expression within the great American song tradition”.
