He also admits to being a fan of Father Brown, the BBC detective series based on GK Chesterton’s short stories and the science fiction anthology Twilight Zone.

MacLeod said: “I was shocked to hear that Bob Dylan was a Coronation Street viewer.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Dylan was asked what he’s been binge-watching lately.

He replied: “Coronation Street, Father Brown and some early Twilight Zones. I know those are old fashioned shows but they make me feel at home.

“I’m not a fan of packaged shows or news shows. I never watch anything that smells bad or evil. Nothing disgusting, nothing son of a bitch.”
