Gardaí have discovered a body while searching for a missing Dublin man.

The Garda spokesman said the missing persons appeal for Michael Flynn had been withdrawn following the discovery of a male body in the Ticknock area on Friday.

Mr Flynn, 74, has been missing from the Leopardstown area of ​​Dublin 18 since the early hours of 6 September.

“There is no further information at this time. An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their support in this matter,” the spokesman said.
