A body has been found in a search for a 16-year-old boy missing in Scotland.
William Clarke disappeared from Ardvasar on the Isle of Skye on Sunday night, sparking a frantic search for him.
Police helicopters, mountain rescue teams and Coast Guard crews have been drafted in to assist in the full-scale search.
Condolences have been extended to the teenager’s family while awaiting formal identification.
Officials said Tuesday morning a body had been found and the circumstances were not being treated as suspicious.
Inspector Isla Campbell said: “Our condolences go out to William’s family and friends.

“His family have asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.
“I would like to thank all authorities and members of the public who have assisted in the search for William.”
The village of Ardvasar is near the southern tip of the Sleat Peninsula on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
The island has around 10,000 inhabitants and is a popular holiday destination for Britons on Staycation.
