Might and Delight is following through with its commitment to focus on improving Tourism book and devote all development efforts to that work for the time being. A new patch is out tomorrow with a bunch of fixes from combat bugs, UI issues, and event triggers.
In the update, players will find that their emoji will work properly, as a strange bug that caused the top half of the emoji to disappear has been fixed. There are fixes for some issues affecting transactions. A fix that applies to a bug where Shift+click and Ctrl+click would accidentally abort the transaction. Seller inventory will also be preserved as you move items to and from the receiving box. Pages will no longer scroll. Some commercial bugs cause item duplication, where those rogue items will cause odd additional errors, such as clicking on an item will remove all items of the same name from the human inventory play. Items stacked in a trade will no longer be hidden when you Shift + click. And the trade will now take the correct item once a bug is fixed making the trade the first instance of an item where you have more than one of them in your inventory.
The combat changes will improve positioning errors that occur in combat and affect players being misplaced, such as being too far apart. There is a change in the rules, where the attack counter will count even when you are defending. This will fix a broken dynamic that resulted in the player being able to defeat enemies just by spamming attacks and many weaker NPCs being able to pile up and defeat the player.
Additional fixes coming to some skills, now work as expected.
True to the previous announcement, where the community prioritized a lot for the smaller team focused on improvement and stability, that’s exactly what this new patch does.
