Border Force employees go on strike over Christmas
staff at border troop will go on strike after the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) opened a ballot for members last month.
labor dispute takes place over a dispute over wages, pensions, jobs and termination terms.
This comes as nurses, ambulances, postal workers and rail workers across the country are on strike throughout December.
The PCS achieved electoral success after 86.2 percent of members voted yes to hiring their workforce earlier this year.

124 employer sectors exceeded the statutory strike threshold of 50 percent.
According to the Union, the turnout across all constituencies was 51.6 percent and gives the PCS a mandate to continue hit since he is aiming for a 10 percent salary increase for his members.

pcs Secretary General Mark Serwotka warned that unless the government is ready to “put money on the table now” the strikes would “escalate”.
He added that many of its members could not afford to heat their homes as the cost of living crisis deepened.
