Boy, 13, attacked in Crawley by group wearing balaclavas

A 13-YEAR-OLD MAN was attacked by a group wearing balaclavas on a busy road.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place at Pond Wood Road, Crawley on Tuesday 28th June.

The boy was walking down the street at around 4:00 p.m. when a group of boys dressed in black and wearing balaclavas approached him and started beating him.

The group made their way towards Three Bridges Park and the victim returned home before later being taken to East Surrey Hospital for treatment.

He was released later that night.

Investigators are asking all witnesses to come forward, including anyone who was in the area at the time or had relevant close-up footage from security cameras, doorbells, or dashcams.
