Brad Pitt launches new genderless skincare line ‘Le Domaine’ inspired by wine and grapes

Brad Pitt founded Le Domaine, a natural skin care company for all genders. The news was announced in a press published on Thursday, after the famous American actor revealed details in an interview with Vogue.

The company is a joint venture between Pitt and the Perrin family, who are organic winemakers in the southern Rhone Valley of southern France. Le Domaine was inspired by the family’s vineyard in Provence. Pitt said he was motivated by the natural beauty of the vineyard.

The company offers two unique antioxidant compounds that it has patented as the most potent type available from grapes. According to the company website, the core of the product is the “potent combination of the exclusive active ingredients GSM10 and ProGR3”.

The two patented compounds were researched for 10 years by Professor Pierre-Louis Teissedre from the University of Bordeaux.

GSM10 is made from a combination of Grenache seed pomace along with Syrah seed and is described as being able to work on skin balancing.

ProGR3 works on “progerin toxicity” and is made from molecules found in plant extracts, prunings, chamomile and green tea, according to the website.

Pitt explained in an interview with Vogue on Wednesday that the company doesn’t want to discourage aging, but rather have a healthier attitude towards it.

“I don’t want to run away from old age. It’s a concept we can’t escape from, and I’d like to see our culture embrace it a bit more and talk about it in those terms,” ​​Pitt said.

The company claims to have achieved this by offering a new way of natural skin care with its research.

Product prices range from $80-385.
