Bradley Walsh embarrassed after geography mistake

Bradley Walsh was embarrassed when he made a big mistake on ITV’s Beat The Chasers tonight.

The Chase star was chatting with one of the show’s hopefuls – who was desperate to beat six brilliant brains on tonight’s ITV show – but when Bradley introduced her, he geographical error.

The popular quiz show is back for a week with special episodes where contestants will have the chance to take on up to six Chasers at once and win a huge amount of money.

When Pam joined him on stage, it was revealed that she had come to the show from Peterlee, a town in County Durham, but Bradley was red in the face when he made a mistake.

“You’re from Peterlee, that’s in Hampshire,” he told the contestant, who was quick to correct him.

She replied, “Close it, County Durham,” causing everyone on set to laugh when Bradley realized his mistake.

“Oh, I’m thinking of Petersfield,” he told her, “It’s in Hampshire!”

He then insists all will be edited, as he repeats the conversation – this time with the right locations.

He blushed because of the error



“So where are you from? Peterlee, County Durham!” he said, as people on set – including some of The Chasers – burst into laughter at the hysterical skit before Pam started with the show.

Unfortunately, she was unable to guarantee a correct answer and was quickly disqualified from the competition.

Elsewhere, Australian Chaser Issa Schultz has replaced Anne Hegerty, the Governor, who is not on tonight’s show.

The show was filmed in March and she was forced to quit filming after signing with Covid. will support me and I’m looking forward to seeing the film when it airs later this year. I feel fine, but I’m still optimistic! (about everything). ”

Issa explained that he went to the UK when he was asked to perform on the show.

“I got a last-minute call to step into The Governess’s cold and chilly shoes. It was exciting. It was almost 1 a.m. Brisbane time – I’m a night owl and human boss. My Australian told the UK bosses: ‘Just call him ‘He’ll be up,’ he shared, ‘And then I was on the plane, I think it was almost 9am. As they say, the show must go on! I’d be stupid not to do it.”
