She explained, “The supervision may help your client, but he seems quite motivated to help himself anyway.”

She then told McKinnon: “Regarding this matter, I will not pass judgment at this time.

“I will defer sentencing again for a period of four months, just to keep an eye on you, sir.”

She told McKinnon to stay out of trouble and return to dock in October to learn his fate.
