Bridgerton cut ‘quite’ of intimate scenes in season two of Netflix show

Bridgerton’s coordinator has revealed many intimate scenes were cut from the second season.

Netflix show intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot opened up about the recent hit series, starring Jonathan Bailey as Anthony, Viscount Bridgerton and Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma, in the lead role Anthony finds find a wife.

Lizzy explained that there were a lot of scenes she starred in that didn’t work out because she commented to viewers’ frustration that there was a lack of sex scenes in the more recent series than in the first, starring Rege-Jean Page. and Phoebe Dynevor.

When asked if there were any moments where her participation was cut this season, she said Glamor: “Yeah, there were always quite a few scenes. It was the same in season one. There were a lot of scenes that didn’t work out.

“We’re always doing more than we need to so there’s a lot of options in the edit. I think that’s a really important thing. I know people were disappointed that there wasn’t more. [sex scenes]But part of it is that we want to give our best. “

In her role, Lizzy also participates in other intimate scenes.

“We weren’t just there for the simulated sex scenes. Our roles were much broader than that. We were there for the kiss scenes. We were there for the births. We were there for the birth. was there to shoot the shower scene,” she explained about her role.

“Anytime an actor is in a vulnerable position or we’re portraying intimacy, whether it’s loyalty or romance, that’s what our job requires. So much of the intimacy isn’t about penetrative sex.”

Lead actor Jonathan Bailey previously revealed how he got back into shape for intimate scenes.

“Step into the shoes that Phoebe Dynevor [who returns as Daphne] and Rege-Jean Page so gracefully dressed and led last season taught me a lot,” he explained, “Being able to take on that responsibility is great for so many reasons.

“This season requires a lot of calm, stability and readiness. That keeps me going. I’m really healthy, I make sure to eat well and get plenty of sleep, and everything else seems to have worked out. fall back into place.”
