“That’s when I needed to be sick, basically because I was wearing a corset,” she said. “I realized that when you’re wearing a corset, you’re just not eating. It changes your body.”
She added: “I had a smaller waist in seconds. Then when you stop wearing it, you will return to how your body was.
“I hurt with my corset too – I think at one point I ripped my shoulder!”
Simone was also tasked with starting horseback riding during her first week on the Bridgerton set, despite having only sat in the saddle once.
“I’m pretty natural and I’m pretty athletic anyway,” she said. When I started, I sat in the saddle every day, pretty much for an hour to an hour and a half each day. I love it.
