A NEW delivery service has launched in the city that promises to reduce wait times thanks to special technology.
Deliveroo Hop has partnered with Morrisons to enable customers to shop for groceries online quickly, with deliveries arriving in just 10 minutes, the company’s website says.
The delivery-only store has now opened in Brighton and Hove and is packed with around 2,000 products – both branded and Morrisons’ own label.
Carlo Mocci, Chief Business Officer at Deliveroo, said: “Ease of use and convenience are increasingly important to customers and this is reflected in the continued popularity of Deliveroo Hop.
“Brighton and Hove is an exciting market for us and we are excited to expand the service and offer customers more choice and choice here to meet the increasing demand for quick grocery delivery.
“We are particularly excited to build on our longstanding and successful partnership with Morrisons and expand our food offering to local residents.”
The service is open daily from 8am to midnight and is available through Deliveroo’s default app.
Deliveroo said it was able to eliminate the need for an item substation with its grocery management technology that “enables real-time inventory control and provides consumers with reliable item availability.”
