Brighton Dog Walker finds a man’s body in the Wild Park

The man was found by a member of the public in Wild Park, Brighton this morning.

A witness said he saw police officers at the scene today.

The Deer Park is Brighton’s largest local nature reserve with many paths and walkways spread over 593 hectares of green space.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The body of a man was found by a dog walker in Wild Park, Brighton on Tuesday morning.

“The man was discovered around 7.45 a.m. near the dew pond.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the coroner.”
