DOGS and their owners will be in force for the return of a Pride dog show.
At the event, held in Brighton’s Preston Park, industry experts will judge pooches in multiple categories including cutest pup, fanciest dress, wobbly tail and best rescue.
Organizers promise a “day of wild and barking revelry” as dogs and dog lovers gather for the annual event.
Owners can also browse a selection of stalls and there will be a bar and refreshments in the park. You can also enjoy a glamorous catwalk canine fashion show and photo booth by award-winning photographer Chris Jepson.
Pride Community Day and Dog Show was due to take place tomorrow July 24 but has been postponed due to the heatwave which has seen temperatures soar above 30C in Brighton and Hove.
A number of other community and family activities will take place alongside the main events, including a Make Your Mark pop-up stand where tiles will be made to decorate a new mural at The Ledward Center on Jubilee Street.
The dog show comes a few weeks after singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera wowed thousands of festival-goers in Preston Park for the return of Pride celebrations to the city.
Todrick Hall, Ella Henderson and Paloma Faith also took to the festival’s main stage over the weekend earlier this month.
