Albion has hit back at “inaccurate reports” that they have reached an agreement to sell Marc Cucurella.
It was widely reported tonight that the Seagulls have struck a deal with Chelsea worth more than £50million for their star defender.
CLUB STATEMENT: MARC CUCURELLA.
Contrary to inaccurate reports from numerous media this evening, no agreement has been reached with any club on the sale of Marc Cucurella.

However, Albbion took the unusual step of issuing a statement saying no deal had materialised.
The statement read: “Contrary to inaccurate reports from numerous media outlets this evening, no agreement has been reached with any club to sell Marc Cucurella.”
