A good early hand to deflect a flick but was spared a poor miss as he fumbled around and was flat-footed by Dunk’s deflection.
Joel Veltman 7/10
Took his place in defense, wearing what appeared to be some kind of protection around his neck. Did a decent job and found room to move forward for a while.
Lewis Dunk 6/10
Bad luck with the own goal but was checked by Mitrovic.
Adam Webster 6/10
Can be more commanding and composed than this.
Pervis Estupinan 6/10
Not at fault in the first Fulham goal and losing possession before the second but forced the chance from which Albion responded (pictured). Is visibly adept and secure on the ball, which needs to be channeled.
Alexis Mac Allister 7/10
Restored hope with a perfect penalty and was generally diligent and effective in midfield.
Moises Caicedo 6/10
Decent pre-penalty work but generally not as effective as he was in midfield.
Solly 5th/10th March
Buzzed around widely at times. Great run to hit a cross that then went wide.
Pascal Gross 6/10
Some positive contributions, but Albion needed more of them. Was often well advanced when Albion pressed Fulham in the back.
Enock Mwepu 5/10
A welcome start but couldn’t really settle into the action in advanced midfield or in the attacking center position.
Leandro Trossard 5/10
Started centrally and was later seen on the left. A cross for March was his only highlight.
Subs – Danny Welbeck 5/10: Not much opportunity.
Kaoru Mitoma 6/10: Positive again.
Tariq Lamptey 6/10: Fairly active on the right flank.
Deniz Undav n/a: Knew he was offside when he hit the post – even though the referees didn’t.
