Brighton Racecourse hosts final meeting of 2022 season

Brighton Racecourse is hoping for a grand finish to their racing year this afternoon.

The ride was good to firm yesterday, good in places.

The gates open at 11.30 a.m., the first of eight races starts at 12.55 p.m.

Danger Alert has only had three appearances but he will compete in the At The Races App Market Movers EBF Novice Stakes in the care of his third trainer.

He started life with Kevin Ryan but after a promising debut at Haydock he disappointed at Chester and switched to Kevin Philippart De Foy.

Hooded and making his first start in two months, he put in a very nice race at Sandown and finished second while Bonny Angel was third again, now 94.

Now he’s been transferred again, this time to George Boughey, who can help him tease out a little more.

Racingbreak’s Ryder met a promising candidate last time out at Bluestocking.

This time around, Charlie Hills leads him in the EBF Restricted Novice Stakes by Follow @attheraces On Twitter and he’ll be unlucky enough to come across something with that potential again.
