Brighton to London trains: delays due to an ‘operational incident’

Passengers should expect delays on Brighton to London trains due to an ‘operational incident’.

Trains have been disrupted due to an incident between London Blackfriars and London Bridge.

The route between the two stations was temporarily closed.

A passenger told The Argus how she “saw the London suburbs in all their glory” after her journey was diverted to Kings Cross.

The incident has since been cleared up and the route has been reopened, but there are still delays of up to 20 minutes

A spokesman for Govia Thameslink Railway, the operator responsible for Thameslink services, said: “Please allow extra time if traveling and check journey planners before traveling here.”
