Roberto De Zerbi found it hard to lose in his first home game as Albion coach.
But he’s confident that if they play like they did against Tottenham, wins will come.
Harry Kane scored to give Spurs a hard-fought 1-0 win at Amex.
De Zerbi said he was encouraged by his side’s performance.
He said: “It was a very good game. My players were fantastic I think and I don’t think the result was fair.
“We had a lot of chances to score. OK, not very clear.
“But I’m sorry about that because the result isn’t right, it’s not fair.
“I don’t want to talk about Tottenham. But the Brighton players have been fantastic for me.”
He added: “I have said to my players that I understand that they can be sad, but at the same time they have to be happy about the style of play, courage and bravery.
“It was a very, very good game.
“If you play in this style, with this courage, the result will come 100%.
“Anyway, that’s the only way I know it.”
