Brighton’s Graham Potter warns of Leeds threat

Graham Potter believes Leeds have the best of both worlds under the management of Jesse Marsch.

Today’s Amex attendees have seven points out of a possible nine.

Potter believes they’ve built on the foundations laid by former boss Marcelo Bielsa, who propelled them into the top flight.

The Albion boss said: “They defend, I think, with the same intensity but in a slightly different way.

“And there’s a little difference in attack now, too, I would say.

“They are very compact in the middle of the field, very difficult to play through.

“Less man for man, more work as a unit so the intensity stays the same, but together they have a really strong understanding of how they might want to work.

“They did a really, really good job.

“I can imagine that taking over Marcelo is not easy.

“I think they took advantage of the good things that were there and they put their own ideas and their own stamp on the team and that’s really impressive.” Brighton’s Graham Potter warns of Leeds threat
