Brighton’s Jeremy Sarmiento is eliminated from Forest Green’s tie

He should be back in training next week.

The Ecuador international missed Sunday’s win at West Ham with a minor knee injury.

He is also sitting out the Carabao Cup tie and appears to be ruled out of Leeds’ visit to Amex in the Premier League at the weekend.

Tomorrow’s game with Forest Green would have been a huge chance to give him a first-team run had he been fit.

Head coach Graham Potter said: “Jeremy is making good progress, (he will) probably integrate into the team by the end of this week, maybe early next week, I think that’s the plan.”
