It was again difficult to gauge as they dominated the game but failed to score.
Because of this, some grades may seem a bit high for an ultimately bad result.
ROBERT SANCHEZ 6/10
Will happily add a goal to their tally but this was a very quiet evening.
JOEL VELTMAN 7/10
Among those who had chances to score, but was solid in his role in the back three and produced the cross of the game for Welbeck.
LEWIS DUNK 7/10
Kept it solid in the back and got a bit lucky when a late release bounced wide.
ADAM WEBSTER 7/10
Showed how he can help throw opponents off balance by carrying the ball forward – but went over the goal as the process progressed.
ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER 7/10
He had a lot going through the middle again but the role means he has few opportunities to get on target. A decent bit of backtracking late when Forest appeared to be threatening.
MOISES CAICEDO 7/10
Strong in midfield and involved in some decent passing plays. Can he offer more in the last 20 meters?
ONLY 7th/10th MARCH
Was involved in many things when he raided the right side. Tested Henderson at his near post but imprecise and some of his deliveries deserved better.
PASCAL BIG 6/10
Came into some good spaces, combined well with March but had two chances when he would have scored with the right finish.
ADAM LALLANA 6.5/10
Albion got a good hour out of him popping up in dangerous areas and getting teammates moving.
LEANDRO TROSSARD 7/10
Albion’s biggest threat in the first half, including two decent shots and a clever cross for Lallana (or Welbeck). Scores high for that effort but faded in the second half.
DANNY WELBECK 5.5/10
Committed to team play as always but lacking confidence in front of goal which is a shame for someone who may not be a prolific goalscorer but has had some quality finishes for Albion.
TARIQ LAMPTEY 6/10
He didn’t look confident about hiring defenders but offered enough to ask Forest a few questions.
