Footage shows Brighton getting into the festive mood, with the Christmas lights and ice rink proving very popular.
Constructed in October, the ice rink is illuminated with blue and purple lights with the Royal Pavilion in the background.
Footage from the rink also shows ice skaters enjoying themselves as the city’s festive celebrations kick off with the opening of the Brighton Christmas Festival.
Brighton proved a popular destination for shoppers over the weekend as people lined the pavements with their Christmas shopping.
The Christmas lights are also on into the evening after being switched on earlier this week.
The ice rink is a welcome return to the city after being a staple of the festive season in recent years.
Although the opening of the rink was marred by rainy weather, skaters are now out in full force once the weather blows.
Just before opening, the rink played host to a number of NHS workers to thank them for all their hard work over the past year.
Brighton Ice Rink is now open for the bank holiday and will close on January 8th.
