Britain’s first all-season beach to open in a spectacular £250m water park with 35 incredible water slides

The UK’s first all-season beach will open in 2025 – as plans for a spectacular £250million water park are unveiled for the first time.

Therme Manchester will offer a whopping 35 water slides, 20 pools and a world-class spa.

But its most outstanding feature will be an indoor bathing resort with lapping waves and soft sands – all just minutes from the Trafford Centre.

New CGI images in the men show a Seychelles-style beach with palm trees and sun loungers under a huge glass dome.

There will also be a “next-generation water park” with thermal baths and the world’s first “living water slides” where visitors can zoom past breathtaking plants.

Elsewhere, guests will find a working farm and botanical gardens on-site.

The massive grounds are housed in glass domes, just minutes from a Holiday Inn and McDonald’s.

Those behind the program say they want to “create an integrated experience that benefits physical and mental health.”

Construction will start in 2023, opening two years later.

“Our commitment to bringing Therme Manchester to the UK is as strong as ever,” said Stelian Iacob, Therme Group Senior Vice President and CEO of Therme Group UK.

“Independent expert studies have demonstrated the hugely positive economic and social impact Therme Manchester will have, helping to create jobs and economic prosperity, and bringing health and well-being to the everyday lives of millions of guests.”

Bosses plan to build more ‘urban oases’ in Glasgow, London and Wales in the future – and say they want to bring thermal baths to 90 per cent of Britain’s population within a 90-minute travel time.

A second water park is also set to open at the Trafford Center – the £60m surf lagoon Modern Surf on Barton Dock Road.

In the meantime a 75 million pound water park Inspired by Indiana Jones, it could open soon in the UK, while a water park is called in Germany Tropical Islands is open all year round with mild temperatures and warm pools.
