Britain’s first dog pub menu includes £1.50 kebabs, curry and mezze “whatever’s in the kitchen”.

The King’s Arms in West Malling, Kent, has launched a new menu specifically for canine guests – and it’s already loved by pet owners because it gives them the ‘peace of mind’ of enjoying their own meal in the pub

Pet owners rush to a cozy Kent pub to try out the new dog-friendly menu.
The King’s Arms in West Malling, Kent, has solved the well-known problem of having to share dinner with your begging dog.
One pub patron, Amanda Greenslade, said: “My pooches absolutely threw down their doggie dinners! But what I loved most about it is the fact that I ate my dinner in peace, without the ‘please mom, give me some.'”
The King’s Arms has four plates made specifically for canine’s sensitive palates – and there’s even a vegetarian option for non-meat eaters.

Guests can order a meat mezze for £2.50, which comes with chicken, beef, sausage, ham, lamb and “whatever’s in the kitchen”.
There’s also a sausage kebab dish priced at £1.50, which is described as a choice of “sausages and carrots on kebab sticks”.
The vegetarian options are cubed cheese for £1.50 or ‘sagapoo’, made with carrots, potatoes and rice, covered in gravy.
The dog-friendly, Indian-inspired dish even comes with wipes to clean the puppies’ dirty faces.
A spokesman for the pub said after it was posted online: “At The King’s Arms we understand that a dog is so much more than a pet.”

Dog lovers have rushed to assure pub bosses that the idea is great, and they haven’t made proper dog food out of it.
Visitor Sara Wood said: “Highly recommended, both my dogs loved it. We’ll definitely be back.” and Rebecca Hodges said, “That’s so cool.”
But Sarah Cowling joked: “Sorry, but I can get the dog food cheaper, can’t I?”
The King’s Arms isn’t the only pub that welcomes furry friends.
The Angel near Wimbourne has a large beer garden serving dog-friendly ice cream and The Fox Inn at Antsey has plenty of lovely country walks perfect for dogs.
A pub called Three Legged Cross in Dorset also offers pooches water and treats to keep them comfortable during their visit.
