Britain’s Got Talent reveals new season starting in April 2022

Britain’s Got Talent will return to our screens on Saturday night and fans may be able to recognize one contestant’s voice.

Pittsburgh, New York-born Loren Allred will try her hand at BGT on Saturday’s episode, but she’s hit it big and has had a pretty successful music career.

The 31-year-old American singer actually sang Never Enough in the hit movie The Greatest Showman.

Not only that, she’s also appeared on The Voice and has duets with the likes of Michael Buble and Andrea Bocelli.

In the seventh episode The sun revealed Simon Cowell can be seen greeting the singer on stage, asking: “Welcome, what’s your name and where are you from?”

Loren said she was American and Simon then replied, “Is that right? So why Britain’s Got Talent? Tell me a little bit about you.”

She later explained that she sang Never Enough in the hit movie, but most people might not recognize her face because actress Rebecca Ferguson, who plays Jenny Lind, imitated her voice. her in the hit movie.

Simon was completely shocked and said, “Oh my God!” while banging the table.

He then added: “So you sang one of the greatest songs of all time. You revealed that it wasn’t the actress who sang the song in the movie – it was you who sang the song. .”

For her audition, Loren sang her hit song and the judges were completely stunned, with Amanda, Alesha and David all in tears.

After her audition, Simon told Loren that she “was one of the most incredible audition moments” he had ever experienced.

He then added: “Perhaps this is your moment now”.

However, this is not her first time participating in televised singing competitions, as in 2012 she appeared on The Voice US.

Overcoming the early stages, she was coached by Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and passed live shows.

Kicking off the show in live shows, she went on to sing Never Enough for The Greatest Showman, before duet with Michael Bublé in 2019 on his track Help Me Make it Through the Night.

Loren’s appearance on Britain’s Got Talent is sure to spark fresh claims of correction among fans as they tune in on Saturday night.

Mirror has approached a BGT representative for comment on the repair requests.
