Britain’s Got Talent judges in awe with magic show in magician spin-off clip

Britain’s Got Talent judges can be seen screaming in horror, with Amanda Holden running off the stage, during a trailer for the show’s upcoming magician’s spin-off.

The one-off special will see 10 magicians who have appeared on Got Talent shows around the globe compete for the title of “Ultimate Magician” and take home a £50,000 prize.

Regular judges Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams feature Penn & Teller duo Penn & Teller magician for this episode.

According to a spokesperson for the show, this comes as Walliams’ future as a BGT judge remains “in the dark”, after the comedian apologized for making “disrespectful remarks” ” about the contestants during the pause in filming the popular show.

In a teaser released ahead of the spinoff, scheduled to air on December 18, a magician known as the Witch returns to haunt the judges.

Dressed in ragged black clothes, the performer made Dixon read a storybook and as she told the story, he revealed items hidden beneath boxes including a plate of fruit with maggots, a storage box and a teddy bear.

The magician asked Jillette what word he had in mind that he said was “chaos”, a word Dixon also read from the storybook before the confetti fell like snow from the sky.

As the performer pulls a snake out of the teddy bear, Holden can be seen running off the stage shouting “I hate snakes”.

Another early clip provides a sneak peek of Magical Bones’ performance, in which his wrists are cuffed before he’s dropped inside a leash box.

A female assistant then stood up to the box and dropped the velvet robe to reveal that she had swapped places for the magician, leaving the judges speechless.

ITV had said Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician was filmed in October, before a Guardian article surfaced reporting that Walliams had been recorded making derogatory remarks and sexually explicit remarks about people. auditioned at the London Palladium in January 2020.

According to a leaked transcript seen by the newspaper, it was suggested that Walliams called an older performer “c***” three times while he was out of earshot, after an unsuccessful audition.

During his audition, the contestant gave a lighthearted talk to the judges in which he mocked Walliams, it was reported.

The recording also shows other sexually explicit comments were made after a female contestant walked off the stage.

In a statement released after the report broke, Walliams said: “I would like to apologize to those to whom I made disrespectful comments during a break from filming for Search. British talent 2020.

“These are private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. However, I apologize.”

In a statement released earlier, Thames TV said: “Despite being involved in a private conversation nearly three years ago, the language used was inappropriate.

“Although it’s a private matter, those involved were spoken to and reminded of their responsibilities and the show’s expectations for future professional conduct.”
