Britain’s ‘most prolific father’ has 160 children – but will only see one of them this Father’s Day

Sperm donor Joe, 51, says he’s fathered more than 160 children around the world through both natural and artificial intercourse, but he’ll be lucky if he “gets a pair of socks” from his offspring.

A prolific online sperm donor who claims to have fathered more than 160 children says he will only see one of them this Father’s Day as he simply has too many children to keep in touch.

Joe, 51, says he’s had sex with nearly 200 women who were struggling to get pregnant but helped many get pregnant without ever meeting them in person.

After he meets her through Facebook and Instagram, they become pregnant through “partial intercourse” — sex without kissing — natural or artificial intercourse.

But Joe, who goes by a pseudonym, says despite appearing to have fathered 160 children this Father’s Day is going quiet, he reports The sun.

“I’m going to see one of my kids on Father’s Day,” he told the newspaper.

“Father’s Day is so different from Mother’s Day because Mother’s Day is about getting flowers and all those things, but on Father’s Day if you’re lucky you might get some socks.

“Fingers fingers – I could use some new pairs. It’s more about trying to spend a little time with your kids.

“This Father’s Day, I’ll probably be speaking to about a dozen of my kids. I wouldn’t have time to talk to 160 kids anyway, so it works.”

After traveling through the US, Argentina, Italy, Singapore, the Philippines and the UK to donate his sperm, he added that some of his children lived in different time zones, so he would likely be speaking to them on different days .

The donor met more than 60 of the 160 children he is said to have fathered.

Originally from Vermont, USA, and based in the UK, Joe calls himself the “Angel of the North” for helping women achieve their dreams of motherhood.

Paid sperm donation is prohibited by law in the UK. Donors who go through a fertility clinic or sperm bank have no rights or obligations to children conceived with their sperm.

However, children conceived through sperm donation have the right to request certain information about their donor once they reach the age of 16.

“People reach out to me on Facebook or Instagram or email me for help and I usually ask them about their periods,” Joe told The Sun.

“I use the start date for all my calculations and I put that in my calculator and then we work out a date for us to meet and we discuss exactly how they want to proceed.

“For some people, natural insemination is the most effective, but some people are in a relationship where they feel it could cause problems and therefore prefer to have artificial insemination.

“Right now I have a couple of women who are pregnant because I sent my semen via overnight courier.”
