Britney Spears admits she doesn’t know who Pete Davidson and Scott Disick are

Britney Spears stunned fans when she reposted a video of Pete Davidson and Scott Disick to Instagram on Tuesday, but said she had “no idea” who they are.

Although the 27-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian rose to fame on her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians with Kim Kardashian, 41, and Scott, 38, the 40-year-old singer was completely unaware of her celebrity status.

The video, filmed by Pete, showed him panning around to show Scott and his friends sound asleep on the sofa while they watched TV.

Uploading it to her Instagram, Britney wrote, “Sorry I had to report this…I have no idea who these people are in the video but it made me laugh so much.”

And the Toxic hitmaker’s followers couldn’t believe she didn’t recognize the couple, with fans taking to Twitter to comment on the uncomfortable confession.

One wrote: “I died. Imagine Scott Disick and Pete thinking they’ve made it in life, only to find out that Britney Spears has no idea who they are. lmaoooo d-list celebs.”

Another fan typed, “If Britney Spears really doesn’t know who Pete Davidson and Scott Disick are then baby she really IS free.”

“I love that @britneyspears has no idea who Pete Davidson is,” said a third, while a fourth added, “May Britney Spears’ knowledge of Pete Davidson remain, nothing.”

Britney’s post comes a week after the singer’s Instagram account mysteriously disappeared, with her followers suspecting she disabled it herself after officials at the site confirmed they hadn’t removed it.

The disappearance sparked a fan frenzy on social media, with one person saying on Twitter, “Oh my god, Britney Spears’ Instagram is gone.”

Another person said: “Britney Spears has deactivated her Instagram account. I disable my whole asshole on social media. I can’t live without her videos.”

Others simply asked why it was removed and said they missed their updates.

But Britney was soon back online, taking to her page on Tuesday to gush about her Australian Shepherd pup, Sawyer.

She wrote: “Thank you for dogs! Dog spelled backwards is God…not sure if there’s a correlation, but I think dogs are extraordinary animals!

“Even though I’ve been attacked by 2 dogs in my life…I’m still attracted to them!”

Britney revealed she was attacked by a cocker spaniel when she was eight and said the animal “clawed, bitten and barked” at her until she was forced to climb on the hood of a car to escape.

In the second incident, the star was 16 and was confronted by a friend’s dog. She claimed it “bited a hole in my leg and a huge hole in my jeans.”

Britney continued, “Since then I have to learn about animals before I really get close to them… I have several small animals and my baby is so cute… I’ve never heard them bark!!!

“My dogs are incredibly valuable.”
