Britney Spears’ ex-husband holds a live wedding on Instagram

Britney Spears and her partner Sam Asghari tied the knot in an intimate ceremony yesterday afternoon, when they celebrated their wedding with an all-star party.

The singer, 40, and the actor, 28, exchanged vows in front of a small group of guests, with relatives such as her sister Jamie-Lynn Spears reportedly not attending.

The newlyweds are understood to have tied the knot during a ceremony on the grounds of her Los Angeles mansion, with a wedding tent having been erected for the occasion.

It is heavily pink and decorated with flowers, with the bride and man exchanging vows beneath a splendid flower arch placed at the end of the aisle.

The ceremony was followed by a wedding reception with a number of celebrities stepping onto the dance floor with the bride – who had been married twice before.

The reception is understood to have been held in the same tent as the wedding itself, with it being transformed into a more social space – including the sofa – for the evening.

Britney appeared to have worn at least two outfits to the reception, having previously donned a stunning white gown for the wedding reception – believed to have been designed by Versace.

However, the bride opted to wear a more casual red dress after her initial vows, with short measurements featuring a plunging neckline and tassel detailing on the sleeves.

In this outfit, Britney was seen recreating her MTV heist scene with guest Madonna, with the photo possibly before much of the reception took place.

The bride then changed into her outfit and was seen with guests wearing a black blazer – believed to have been designed by Versace – with no pants or shoes.

The bride was seen on the dance floor alongside Madonna and others, including Selena Gomez. Drew Barrymore was also pictured at the wedding reception with Britney.

Other guests at the reception included actor Ansel Elgort as well as reality TV stars Paris Hilton and her mother, RHOBH’s Kathy Hilton, who were also present.

One photo shows Britney – wearing another red outfit – and Sam sitting on a sofa in the middle of the reception, with Selena talking to the newlyweds.

Other photos show the bride with attendees, with one showing her dancing barefoot next to a guest. Songs played at the party are said to feature Britney’s Toxic.

Groom Sam is pictured at the wedding reception wearing a pair of navy blue trousers, a black jacket and a black T-shirt with the words “Britney & Sam” on the front.

Britney announced her engagement late last year. The news came not long before the female singer was officially released from the role of guardian.
