Britney Spears says her sons ‘don’t need her anymore’ and she ‘respects’ their privacy

Britney Spears, 40, says she wishes she could share recent photos of herself and her two sons Sean, 15, and Jayden Federline, 16, but she understands their plea for privacy private.

Britney Spears says she misses motherhood with babies and reveals they don’t want to be seen on her Instagram.

The 40-year-old admitted when she shared a photo of herself cuddling her dog Sawyer.

“My kids are getting bigger. I’ll just say it like when my sons got older… IT WAS A SURPRISE. They didn’t need me anymore… I cried in front of the ocean for my boys. mine and I’m not lying,” she wrote in the caption.

She continued: “Hopefully one day I can show our recent photos but in the meantime I respect their wishes!!!! Oh… but Sawyer. ..yes he is bigger but he will always need me and i love it!!!!”

The last time she shared a snap of her sons was in March 2021, where the trio posed before the sunset.

“It’s crazy how time flies….My sons are so grown up now!!!! I know…I know…it’s hard for any mother, especially a mother. a mother with sons seeing them grow up so fast!!!!

“It’s enough to bring you to your knees… GEEZ!!!! I’m so lucky my two kids are so precious and kind so I must have done something right!!!!”

She explained that she doesn’t post many pictures of her sons because they are “at an age where they want to express their own identity”.

But she added: “I’ve been trying to do this cool edit and guess what… They finally let me post it!!! Now I don’t feel left out anymore and I going to celebrate. … Oh s *** I guess great moms don’t do that… Ok, I’ll read a book instead.”

It is believed that the boys spend most of their time with Kevin after Britney was granted 30% unsupervised visitation in September 2019.

Britney and Kevin divorced in 2007 after two years of marriage.

An insider told The Sun: “She used to have more time with them until Kevin changed their custody arrangement following the incident with [her dad]Jamie [Spears, in 2019].

“Since then, the visits by boys have also decreased. They spend most of their time at their father’s house and rarely visit their mother, especially those who spend the night.”

The source added: “They are currently teenagers and want to be with their friends, not their parents. Nothing against Britney.

“They loved and idolized her, and Kevin trusted her. It’s just that they’re getting old, so when they’re not at the main house with Kevin, they’re usually out doing things with their friends. ”
