It feels like just yesterday David and Victoria Beckham ascended their throne in 1999 during the celebrity wedding of the decade. As their eldest son prepares to tie the knot, let’s take a look at what’s in store for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s lavish ceremony next week

It’s almost time for two to become one as Spice Girl Victoria Beckham’s eldest son prepares to tie the knot with a lavish wedding ceremony.
Brooklyn Beckham, 23, and actress Nicola Peltz, 27, will be husband and wife later this month after the aspiring photographer and aspiring chef popped the question to the Motel Bates star in June 2020.
The firstborn of Victoria and David Beckham – who attended his parents’ wedding as a newborn in 1999 – has previously admitted he and his wife-to-be “would already be married” were it not for the Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
With a star-studded guest list, designer dresses and a billionaire mansion as the venue, the couple’s nuptials may have been delayed, but it’ll be worth the wait when they finally tie the knot on April 9.
With one of the world’s most famous couples as parents, Brooklyn’s side of the guest list is sure to feature some of the biggest names in entertainment.
If the aspiring chef’s showbiz credentials weren’t enough, the fact that he’s marrying the daughter of a billionaire will also make his nuptial one of the most coveted events of the year.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, a longtime family friend, is sure to show up during Brooklyn and Nicola’s special day – with the eldest Beckham child counting 22-year-old Jack Ramsay as one of his best friends.
Mum Victoria’s former Spice Girl bandmates are also expected to snag invitations to the lavish event, with actress Eva Longoria and Madonna’s son Rocco Richie reportedly also on the final guest list.
One famous face who won’t be there when Brooklyn becomes a married man is his godfather, Sir Elton John.
The legendary singer, a close Beckham family confidant, is unlikely to be able to attend his godchild’s wedding as his planned tour dates collide with the big day.
With her future mother-in-law being one of the biggest names in fashion, bride-to-be Nicola could easily have turned to designer Victoria to whip up a wedding dress for her big day.
However, the Transformers actress is rumored to have chosen Italian house Valentino to design the dress she’s walking down the aisle in – after reportedly flying to Rome for some final fittings earlier this year.
Victoria – who appears to have created a few possible designs for Nicola’s wedding dress – could still contribute to the fashion choices on her son’s big day.
The mother-of-four is rumored to be influencing her wardrobe choices during the wedding – apparently in designing the dress the bride will wear for the evening’s celebrations.
breaks from traditions
Both family-oriented Brooklyn and Nicola have apparently asked loved ones to play a special role during their lavish ceremony.
According to The Sun, Brooklyn has asked younger brothers Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 16, to serve as his groomsmen, while his wife-to-be broke with tradition and asked her former hockey player brother Brad to be her “man of honour”. . .
“When I first went to Rome, I brought my mum and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honor,” actress revealed to CR Fashion Handbook.
“It’s really a beautiful thing to be a part of and very exciting.”
Brooklyn’s little sister Harper will not be ruled out of the case later this month.
“Harper is a bridesmaid for both ceremonies and the boys will also be groomsmen – but it’s a bit complicated,” the source told heat magazine last year.
“Nicola also has a couple of brothers with a wide age range, so it’s about making sure everyone is included but without getting too OTT.”
Brooklyn’s father David is also believed to be master of ceremonies and is expected to deliver a short speech.
Brooklyn may have been born in England and the couple currently resides in Hollywood, but future Mr. and Mrs. Beckham are flying to Florida to tie the knot.
Why Florida? Well, Nicola’s billionaire father has quite a stunning estate that’s perfect for a wedding ceremony.
The young couple will say ‘yes’ at businessman Nelson Peltz’ stunning 27-bedroom Florida estate, which is worth an estimated $103 million.
The 44,000-square-foot mansion features a swimming pool, sprawling gardens, and scenic ocean views—the perfect backdrop for the celebrity wedding of the year.
Guests at the lavish event must abide by some strict rules while attending the Florida wedding on April 9.
It has been said that participants will be instructed not to take photos and the use of social media throughout the day is apparently banned.
The orders come as fashion bible Vogue has reportedly acquired exclusive rights to the first images of the bride and groom.
Speaking earlier to Vogue, Brooklyn and Nicola confirmed they will be celebrating a “Jewish wedding” due to the model’s heritage and religious beliefs.
Brooklyn revealed, “I wear a yarmulke,” and Nicola added, “Yes, [it’s a] Jewish marriage.”
When it comes to the food and drink served to her guests on their special day, budding chef Brooklyn has kept a close eye on things.
The rising culinary star admitted he was in “full wedding prep mode” as he revealed a flavored martini will likely be the wedding drink of choice.
When it comes to the food, Nicola shared a glimpse of what the couple’s wedding cake could be on her Instagram Stories earlier this year.
“Heading to cake tasting @brooklynbeckham,” the actress told her millions of followers, before sharing snaps of a range of baked goods – including a delicious-looking red velvet cake topped with decadent frosting and pretty berries.
Brooklyn and Nicola will exchange vows on April 9th.
