Alex Jones apologizes after Bryan Adams sworn in on The One Show
Alex Jones has had to apologize to viewers of The One Show on BBC1 after rock singer Bryan Adams dropped the F-bomb on Friday’s episode.
Alex and co-host Ronan Keating were shocked when Bryan told a story about his 94-year-old mother, which ended with a nice outcome that left the hosts blushing and Bryan asked guest Michelle Visage What did he do wrong?
The 62-year-old Canadian singer was on the show to promote his new music video for Never Gonna Rain, which also features his mother.
He then went on to tell a story about his childhood which saw him swearing about his former headmaster, because he accidentally lost the four letter word.

Speaking on the show, Bryan recalled how his mother allowed him to drop out of school when he was 14, so he could start his music career.
He said his mother went to the school to inform the principal of her decision.
Bryan said: “She went to the principal and said, ‘I’m dropping my son off school [because] he wanted to join a band, and he said to her, “You’re making a big mistake and you’re a bad mother.”
“She just told me that last year,” Bryan added.

He continued: “I said [to her]you should have taken the position of the chart or something, she said, ‘No, to them.’ “
As Michelle leans in to inform Bryan of his apparent tampering, Alex quickly steps in to apologize to the viewer, saying, “There was a bit of swearing in there, we’re sorry.”
Bryan still didn’t know what he said, and exclaimed, “What?”
Alex continued: “But your mom got it right because this was your first album out in Vancouver in 1980.”

The Welsh presenter took the time to apologize a second time later on the show, after his talk with Bryan ended.
With a little amusement at what happened, Alex said, “Again, sorry for Bryan’s loose lips.”
Bryan asked again: “What did I say, did I just say I was so happy and in pain?”
Michelle pointed out again: “No, the first one!”
She then joked: “Yes, that’s what you said, very happy and painful.”
