BTS footage emerges supporting Daniel Craig’s Balder the Brave being replaced in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

It has been claimed for some time that Balder the Brave was to appear as a member of the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and be portrayed by James Bond himself, Daniel Craig. In the final film, however, Balder was absolutely nowhere to be seen, making the claim seem inaccurate.
Thanks to some growing evidence over there Redditit looks like Balder was originally intended for the film but was eventually replaced by John Krasinski’s Mister Fantastic.
In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Illuminati lineup consisted of Professor X, Captain Carter, Monica Rambeau’s Captain Marvel, Black Bolt, and Mr. Fantastic. Nonetheless, posts on Reddit and other scoopers have argued for a while that both Balder the Brave and a version of Obadiah Stane’s Iron Monger should actually appear as members in the film.
The Reddit post above proved even more that Balder should appear in the Doctor Strange sequel, with a behind-the-scenes image of a person who appears to be dressed like Balder, seemingly dead. In the light of Wanda’s massacre of the Illuminati is it was not at all surprising that Balder would die in the end.
What’s incredibly surprising is that the character would end up on the cutting room floor, especially considering 007 himself, Daniel Craig, is the actor rumored to be playing him. Whether Marvel Studios will ever decide to confirm these leaks is anyone’s guess. Still, the growing evidence has made it seem like both Balder and Iron Monger were originally intended for the film.
