New details on Yellowjacket’s Season 2 include the latest debut from an unlikely duo of Misty (Christina Ricci) and a mysterious character played by Elijah Wood. As members of the Bureau of Citizen Detectives, the two will conduct an undisclosed investigation in the upcoming episode.
The official Yellowjackets Twitter account revealed an image of the two characters in a forest where the network welcomed Elijah Wood to the cast. In season one, Misty usually started out on citizen detective missions alone, except when she dragged Natalie (Juliette Lewis) into those cases. Now that Wood is part of the group, it will show a new perspective on the series.
The FBI investigation into the recent events of extortion and murder in Season 1 may continue, mostly focusing on the shocking twist to the kidnapping plot at the end. Alongside Elijah’s debut, Showtime has released more information about the next episode, such as an adult version of delivery trucks (Lauren Ambrose) and a release date for March 24, 2023.
This upcoming arc will also test the Yellowjackets as they cope with the harsh winter conditions. In addition, fans will see what happens in the future arc of the series and potentially see more adult versions of characters.
