Cadbury has teased fans over a new candy bar

Cadbury is driving sweet tooth fans crazy by teasing a new candy bar – but only letting some people see the advert.

Normally, when a new product hits the shelves, you expect advertisements to pop up everywhere and promotional stands pop up in stores.

But Cadbury have taken a different approach with their latest creation. Posters for a Twirl Caramel have surfaced in various locations across the UK – but in the most unlikely places.

Several fans took to Twitter to share photos of ads they had seen on village bulletin boards, while other ads were placed in out-of-the-way places, such as at Plas-y-nant railway station in Snowdonia.

Another display was mysteriously placed on the shore of Royal Victoria Dock in Greenwich, visible only at low tide.

It’s a technique that has clearly worked as people are desperate for the latest offering.

One wrote on Twitter, “That twirl caramel looks really yummy!” While another added, “I found the ad… how do I attach the caramel swirl don’t get me down.”

The chocolate giant even shared a series of obscure puzzles to help people identify the locations of ads shared with specific fans.

But if you weren’t one of the lucky few to get your hands on a bar, fear not as they will be available in stores from June.
