Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello are just two of the big names who have signed on to sing for Ukraine later this month.
Joining the likes of Emeli Sandé, Gregory Porter and Snow Patrol, the two world stars will enter the Concert for Ukraine on Tuesday March 29 – a two-hour fundraiser raising money for the humanitarian appeal in Ukraine.
The star-studded event, which will be televised on ITV, is set to take place at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham and tickets go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday).
By bringing together some of the biggest music stars in the world, the unique event hopes to spread a message of hope and support, and most importantly, raise funds for DEC Ukraine’s ongoing humanitarian appeal.

Before the concert, Havana singer Camila said: “My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine. As refugees from Ukraine join millions of other displaced people around the world, we all have a responsibility.
“One of the greatest needs is raising funds for organizations that can directly serve these communities, so we’re focusing our efforts on doing that as quickly as possible.”
“Next To Me” hitmaker Emeli also expressed her support for the cause.

“I will sing to try to help every person who is forced to flee their homes and to show solidarity with those who are also racially discriminated against in this humanitarian crisis,” said the 35-year-old before the start of ticket sales.
“No one should be denied access to assistance, assistance and the right to safely cross borders, and I welcome the opportunity to support the DEC’s appeal to help all people whose lives have been impacted by the conflict.”
The concert comes after the global shock after Russian troops began invading Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
It is estimated that 2.5 million people have fled the country since President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian forces to invade their neighboring country last month.
The Concert for Ukraine will combine emotional musical performances with short films celebrating the ongoing relief effort and plight of people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
Viewers can donate money to a good cause throughout the evening.

Guy Dunstan, NEC Group’s Managing Director of Ticketing and Arenas, said: “NEC Group stands with the people of Ukraine. While the live entertainment industry is shocked and deeply saddened by the unfolding humanitarian crisis, it has the power to make a difference That, of course, comes down to people’s love of music.
“As a charity fundraiser, Concert for Ukraine will be a fantastic show, bringing together some of the UK’s biggest artists at one of our premier entertainment venues, Resorts World Arena, to raise money for humanitarian aid.”
