A common theme for Phase Four of the MCU is family. Black Widow pushes her sister’s life into the future instead of the past. Shang-Chi learns to accept his family and the influence they have on his life. Through heartbreaking circumstances, Doctor Strange and Thor add a new member to their family. And Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, and the nation of Wakanda lost some of their most important family members. So, on the surface, “She-Hulk” perpetuates that theme in a much lower-key way by introducing the audience to Dr. Banner’s cousin. However, with that spaceship in service, it’s possible that Hulk’s son from his time in Sakaar could also be involved in this story.
Created in 2007 by Greg Pak and John Romita Jr as part of the popular Marvel Comics storyline “World Hulk”, Skaar is the offspring of a Hulk iteration known as the Green Scar or World Breaker. world and bodyguard of the Red King Caiera Oldstrong. While their unborn child was believed to be among the casualties when the warp core from Hulk’s space shuttle exploded (along with Caiera and millions of innocent people), Skaar’s cocoon actually fell into the lake of fire. and taken to a safe place. At birth, he appears as a juvenile, but he matures rapidly and develops the appearance and intelligence of a young adult in about a year.
Eventually, after clashing with Galactus and obtaining the Ancient Powers of his mother and the Dark People of Sakaar, Skaar was exiled from his home planet and made his way to Earth to meet his father. Though he initially intended to kill the Hulk, Banner eventually attracted his son and taught him to be a hero.
