Candy corn warning for these states

Arcade Snacks has issued a recall for its candy corn over an allergy issue that could cause serious or life-threatening health risks for some people if consumed just before Halloween.

The recall affects 15-ounce packages of candy corn that may contain eggs and were not declared on the package. If it is consumed by those with egg allergy, there is a risk of an allergic reaction.

The recalled candy corn was distributed in Massachusetts and Connecticut at the following locations, among others:

  • Johnson Roadside Farm Market in Swansea, Massachusetts
  • Donelan’s Supermarkets in Massachusetts
  • Fieldstone Farm Market in Marion, Massachusetts
  • Foodies in Massachusetts
  • Windfall Market in Falmouth, Massachusetts
  • Highland Park Market in Glastonbury, Connecticut

The affected candy corn was packaged in clear plastic containers and has a UPC number #00 18586 00114 4. The best time to buy the candy is March 8, 2023, which can be found on the back of the product.

Consumers in possession of the recalled candy corn are urged to return it to the point of sale for a full refund.
