Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium has been announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This new game is a sequel to last year’s Capcom Arcade Stadium and brings another 32 Capcom classics to modern consoles

While it didn’t reveal which games would be included and when fans can expect them, Capcom did reveal in an that SonSon will eventually be a free download. Additionally, those who pre-order the Capcom Fighting Collection will receive Three Wonders as a release day bonus.

The announcement didn’t reveal much more, but promised that more information would be available soon. Fans might not have to wait long as Capcom Arcade Stadium was released just two months after it was revealed in December 2020.

The original also included 32 classic Capcom games, including Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Final Fight, and Street Fighter II. While players could enjoy them in their original form, the collection added several other features, including the ability to rewind gameplay and to speed up, and more.

When IGN reviewed SonSon when it was re-released in 2011, we gave it a 6/10 and said it wasn’t worth the $8. “While this monkey boy’s journey is admittedly cute and fun, his value for money is just too far off to merit solid recommendation.”
