Cash stolen from Manor Parade Co-op in Durrington

CASH was stolen from a supermarket during a late-night burglary.

The incident took place at the Manor Parade Co-op on Salvington Road, Durrington.

Three men are said to have broken into the store.

The store was shut down while forensic teams investigated.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police were called on Thursday 25th April.

“Three men are said to have stolen an undisclosed amount of cash.

“Officials responded to the scene and conducted an area search, but there was no sign of any perpetrators.

“Forensic scientists have since visited the store and our investigation is ongoing.

“Anyone with information about the incident, including those with dash cams or CCTV, is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial number 44 dated 08/25.
