Cat Suit Mario, Donkey Kong Make Appearances In New Super Mario Bros. Movie Teaser

Nintendo and Illumination have released a new teaser revealing Mario’s famous catsuit as well as more from Seth Rogen’s Donkey Kong.

Released during one of yesterday’s big NFL games, this teaser is short and sweet, but includes about 10 seconds of new footage from The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which hits theaters on April 7th. In it we see Donkey Kong start hitting Mario, which is a clip we’ve seen before, before Mario hit a yellow “?” Block. This gives him the Catsuit powerup, and while it’s useful in-game, that doesn’t seem to be the case here as Rogen’s Donkey Kong starts making fun of the suit and Mario’s faith in him.

As you can see, this is the Donkey Kong dialogue we’ve heard so far in a teaser for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and it shows that Rogen’s character is basically just him, complete with his signature laugh. This clip is another one that looks great and we can’t wait for this movie to hit theaters in a few months time on April 7th.
