Netflix has given fans a glimpse of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman as members of the spooky Addams family, in Wednesday’s new series.
he is the supernatural detective show, starring Jenna Ortega, directed by Tim Burton and scheduled for release later this year.
Ortega stars in Wednesday’s Addams, with Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Guzman as Gomez and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley.
The series follows the 16-year-old Wednesday as a student at Nevermore Academy.
The first season will follow on Wednesday as she tries to master her emerging psychic abilities, stop the killing that terrorizes the town, and solve the murder mystery her parents were embroiled in. 25 years ago.
Netflix shared a black and white photo of the quartet on Twitter on Tuesday.
“Welcome to Netflix’s Addams Family,” said the streaming giant.
“Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jenna Ortega, Luis Guzman and Isaac Ordonez star on Wednesday, Tim Burton’s new series.”
About the series, co-creator Miles Millar told Vanity Fair: “It’s not trying to be ’60s movies or TV shows.
“That’s very important to us and very important to Tim (Burton).”
